Widely regarded as one of the greatest games of all time; Final Fantasy VII not only set the Final Fantasy franchise in a new direction, it became a defining moment in JRPG’s, winning new audiences in the west and setting a new, lofty bar for the genre itself. Square Softs Final Fantasy VII was the first in the series to receive full polygon rendering, bringing familiar magic spells like ‘Firaga’ new splendour and awe, as well as series recurring summon creatures like Bahamut to life.

Stop right there, criminal scum! Yes, it is time to return to the Imperial heartland of Tamriel and face the infernal armies of Oblivion once again. Centuries before we ventured north to the frozen continent of Skyrim, we found ourselves flying over the impressive Imperial City, listening to the impressive voice of Patrick Stewart foretell an impressive Doom, and we landed in a familiar setting: a dingy prison cell. From such lowly beginnings all the stories of the Elder Scrolls stem and Number IV offers perhaps the best-told tale in the book.

The misuse of the weapon caused damage to the very core of the planet, set off chain reactions that caused the planet’s axis to shift and melt the polar ice caps! And you thought global warming was bad!

Pokémon Yellow – Special Pikachu Edition, developed by Gamefreak, was released in Europe midway through 2000, is more or less the same game that appeared on the GameBoy a year before, albeit with minor changes over the Red and Blue versions that neither drastically improve nor degrade the game, except for adding a bit more spark perhaps.
